Following the success of London, the Amsterdam Coffee Festival (2nd/3rd May) celebrates the local coffee and artisan food scene in the bustling European city.
It was not in the distant past that the coffee scene in the city was somewhat bare, with few artisan roasters and a reputation for coffee houses that sold anything but great coffee. The festival is a watershed in the emergence of a sophisticated coffee taste with a unique dutch character.
With over 5,000 professional baristas, coffee lovers and foodies set to attend, with 100 suppliers including artisan coffee roasters, equipment makers and innovative food manufactures, it will be a melting pot of coffee fanaticism!
The event is part of Coffee Week NL with the aim of raising money for ‘Project Waterfall’, a charity devoted to bringing clean drinking water to the poorest.
There will also be a display exhibiting photographic portraits of Amsterdam coffee scene. From it’s early beginnings to it’s present day energy this will give visitors an insight into the rapid transformation of coffee consumption.
BlueBird @ The Amsterdam Coffee Festival
BlueBird will be there exhibiting the Revel System, we plan to set up a number of iPads to demonstrate the flexibility of the system as well as emphasise it’s edgy aesthetic. Our in-depth reporting functions will be particularly relevant as new and growing businesses look to keep a tight grip on expenditure and sales information.
Be there or be square!
